ISEE has already established in the exDelphi headquarters in Barcelona to carry out its daily activity. This action should be put in context of the reindustrialization of the Delphi factory located in Sant Cugat del Vallès. ISEE, J. Juan, Gutmar and Guilera will take part in this process.
These four catalan companies have an agreement with the Generalitat de Catalunya and Sant Cugat del Vallès city on an operation between 10 and 12 million euros to take over the control of the factory. They will gradually employ 208 Delphi workers by the end of 2018.
ISEE engineering, specialized in Embedded Systems, has an experienced group of professionals who offer customized solutions for every need requested by the customer. ISEE products offer advanced features and open source software at industry leading prices. ISEE is getting towards a global market orientation.
The target customers are mainly international and located mostly in Europe but outside Spain. Other target markets which are also actively involved are the United States, Latin America and Asia. Manel Caro, CEO and ISEE’s co-founder, explains that “the change of venue implies unbeatable facilities for the design and development of new products in a phase of expansion of ISEE in new markets in the year 2018”.
After the agreement, which was signed by the four companies in June 2016, the Delphi factory resumed its activity after the multinational company closed down its facility after filing an Employment Regulation File in March 2016. Mercè Conesa, mayor of Sant Cugat del Vallès, has positively approved the agreement by declaring: “The pact gives continuity to the industrial production of the factory and guarantees the job security of the employees”.
